| SPM Downhill Poles | SPM Downhill Poles are made of durable, polycarbonate plastic, feature a large 35mm (1.4") diameter shaft for great visibility and strength (especially in windy conditions), and are available with two hinge/base options: a non-hinged threaded Screw Base (14.5cm/5.75" long) or a metal with a Snow Grip Base (34cm/13.4" long) - essential at critical turning gates. Designed for speed events - their extra long length makes them ideal for use near bumps and knowls on any speed course. Overall length for non-hinged version gate is 244cm/96", and the metal hinged version is 270cm/106.3". Compared to other DH poles, SPM DH shaft walls are thicker, helping poles with large DH panels stay vertical in windy conditions. Also strong enough to support warning banners and other signage. |
